Don’t underestimate your own power and value. To often I run into people who discount themselves and their skills. Whether your task is great or small it makes a difference.
A great example of someone who doesn’t understand their power and value was a young woman in her late 20’s working in a drug store. We were talking about an upcoming race event we were both attending. Never met her before, just some good conversation. Me, I was working the event. She said very flatly to me “I’m just racing.” She really thought, and I could tell it really looking at her, she felt it was that unimportant. “She” and her fellow racers are the main reason we were there! I had an important piece of the whole with what I did and she did too.
Perhaps the action you are about to take seems small and unimportant to you. But it’s not! Every action counts and prompts reactions. Take a good look at what it is you do or want to do and know it has its own power and value. You have to treat it that way!Share on Facebook
